From the Principal
Happy Friday!
It felt so good to be dancing to music this morning for drop off. I have missed the giggles around me on Friday mornings greatly. It has been an adjustment for all of us with so many things in place for safety that we sometimes forget to have FUN! It was great to have another full (almost full) week with students. We know the kids are implementing all of our processes and procedures even better now with practice.
We have been working in our chromebooks a little more this week and figuring out all the little strategies we might need to stay ahead of the game. We are waiting for cases for the chromebooks so they always stay safe. In order for your child to be assigned a chromebook you will need to read the Technology handbook and fill out the user agreement. We are asking for a $25 insurance fee as well and that can be paid on the website or given to the school marked with your child's name and technology on the front of the envelope. I think we are all ready to have the comfort of knowing we can carry on regardless of COVID and any situation that may arise for all our families.
Parent-teacher conferences are coming next week and please know that your teachers have been working many hours overtime to make this year great for our students and they have learned lots and been given sometimes impossible tasks by our state. Please be on time for your conference and be patient with them as they navigate not having you all in person to share the great things they are learning about your child. Honor their time and the next family who is waiting. If you need more time to discuss your questions, please feel free to reach out to them via email for anything.
Again, we can't thank you enough for your partnership on this journey. Stay Healthy and Strong!

Chromebook Handbook and Agreement Information
We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve our students virtually in the event they cannot be in school learning in person. The chromebooks have arrived and we are awaiting chromebook cases so we can send these home safely with students. We are delighted that everything is falling into place. We can't thank you enough for your patience and understanding as we navigate this new platform.
Before devices can be sent home the following 2 steps need to be completed.
1. Read the handbook here.
2. Complete the Chromebook Agreement here.

Halloween Update
SC New Procedure for Entry Into the Building
- Please be sure to have completed the Student Health Screener (if your student is arriving late).
- Follow the directions on the outside of the front doors that direct you to fill out the Student Sign In/Student Sign Out form via your smartphone rather than using the public Chromebook.
- Parents that enter the lobby will need to fill out the Guest Screener Form (also on the door as a QR Code) or parents can fill the form out by the front doors, open the door for their student, and someone from the front office will let the student enter the building.
