Tie Dye Shirts

6th grade spent some time at the beginning of October tie dying shirts. They learned the process in class, watched videos, chose how they wanted to tie dye their own shirts and then began the three day process outside. Check out the photos below! They will wear these shirts on the field trip!

Amazing Race

8th grade was put into their teams for Amazing Race last month (see team shields below that are posted outside Ms. Cowan's office) and had their competition for their Marketing Challenge. Students had to rebrand a Zen Garden Litter Box, which means they had to take the product and change it to fit a new audience. Each group presented in front of the classes. This is the first step before students prepare for Shark Tank in November to sell their handmade products at the Farmer's Market in December. Farmer's Market research is TOMORROW from 10-12 at the NB Farmer's Market. Hopefully one from every team can be present. Take a look below for more events coming up with 8th GT!
