Mrs. Stone's Second and Third Grade
February 8-12
It's almost Valentine's Day!
We will celebrate Valentine's on Friday, February 12. Our celebration will be small, but we will pass out Valentines and take a few minutes to spread some love in the classroom! If your child would like to send in Valentines, please be sure to send one for every one. We don't want any one to feel left out. You can send them in any day this week. I can keep them safe until Friday.

Attestation Forms-
**IMPORTANT**
Before signing these forms each day, please be sure you have carefully read the whole form.
Thank you for completing this every morning!
Yearbooks-
Yearbook order forms were sent home a few weeks ago. If you need another form, please let me know. Online ordering is available.
Assignment Books-
Please check your child's assignment book each night and initial it. I check these each morning for signatures and special notes from you.
Reading Homework-
Reading with your child each night is one of the best ways you can help them grow as a reader. Even if your child prefers reading alone, asking them about what they read is a great way to check in on their comprehension skills. Please be sure your child is reading every night.
Math Homework-
After Christmas Break, we added a tiny bit of math homework for each night. Students will be practicing skip counting. The expectation is that they skip count aloud while an adult listens. If they make a mistake, tell them the correct number, and have them start at the beginning and try again.
