Monday Memo

TJ Updates
Happy Monday and Happy June! I can't believe it is June already. My Facebook feed has been full of links to posts about summer activities (my Facebook feed is mostly education related posts sprinkled with posts about running - I am that dorky!). I have included a few that I found interesting in the last section of today's memo. This is a great time to start talking to students about their summer reading plans. Don't forgot to talk to them about your reading plans too. If you're looking for a good book to add to your summer reading list I highly recommend, The Girl on the Train, by Paula Hawkin (it's a great audio book too).
This week begins SLO post-assessment administration. Please refer to schedules you have received via email.
Once this yucky, rainy weather clears we will be finishing up our fire drills. Please make sure that you have your red/green cards handy and have reviewed the procedures.
Thanks for all you do to keep our students engaged during this last portion of the school year. I know it's been hard this year, especially with the weather. Here are some pictures from last week...
