Borrowed Chromebooks

All students in grades TK-4 are encouraged to keep chromebooks over the summer. This will allow them to practice skills. Also, we are doing our best to avoid large crowds at school sites, and chromebook returns will definitely generate a crowd. :-)

LVJUSD is providing distance learning resources on the webpage for families to use over the summer. Students will continue to have access to MobyMax and the other online sites shared by their teacher.

If you are moving or feel it's important to return the chromebook before August, please contact our school office.

Lifetouch has been in contact with our yearbook committee. Due to Shelter in Place protocols, the timeline for delivery has been extended to mid-June. When the yearbooks are delivered to Lawrence, you will will receive details about distribution. Thanks for your patience with this matter.

PTO Elections

Dear Labrador Families:

Over the last 4 years, I have had the pleasure of leading an amazing team of motivated, hard working parents. As a result of their dedication and our community's generosity, PTO has helped fundraise thousands of dollars. These donations have directly supported extra curricular programs, assemblies, the purchase of new chromebooks, community events, teacher accounts, and so much more.

The 2020-2021 Lawrence PTO needs your help! We currently have a total of 9 vacant positions. In order to continue all our wonderful programs and events, we need your support! Please consider applying for a board or coordinator position. Many do not require a great deal of time and can be shared with a friend. We work as a team and all members support each other.

Over the years I've had the pleasure of making lasting friendships and have truly enjoyed serving the Lawrence community and staff. I am proud of what we have built and am confident the next generation will continue to strengthen and improve our program.

Livermore Learns

Livermore Learns is a parent education program designed to educate, inform and engage parents and guardians as they support their children throughout their education. Livermore Learns provides workshops, presentations, trainings, book clubs and webinars to help provide this education and support.

Livermore Learns is modeled after LVJUSD's Framework for Success - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Just as our students are provided support and education in those three major areas, our parents will have opportunities to build their knowledge and skills around those areas as well.

Livermore Learns opportunities will be offered seasonally. We will have a comprehensive calendar of events for the fall, winter and spring. Parents will have the opportunity to register for events they would like to attend as well as provide feedback for events attended.
