Dear D41 Community,

On behalf of the Board of Education, I am grateful to the many folks who voted on the future of our schools. While the referendum outcome does not allow the District to implement a comprehensive plan that includes full-day kindergarten for everyone, we will continue focusing on lifting up all students. We are committed to ensuring that every student receives a quality and equitable education. Conversations will take place about the best use of resources and educational programming to produce the most impactful learning outcomes. In our deliberations we will continue to be guided by the principle of supporting what is in the educational interest of all young people.

We look forward to your involvement and support as we strive to develop the excellence of our diverse population, from the highest performing students to the most at-risk learners.
