MCAS Results
Parents of children in grades 4-5 should have received MCAS results last week. If you didn’t please let us know.
As a school we are very proud of our results. We have experienced tremendous growth over the past 6 and we are very well positioned for future success. While individual MCAS results are important, and used to identify students in need of assistance, know that the goal is to ensure they can pass in 10th grade. We take individual results for students seriously and work intensely with those in need of assistance. We also use the results to drive needed changes to the curriculum and in our instruction.
MCAS results are a good check in. They give us solid information about what is working and what we need to adjust. MCAS results are not the whole picture, however. Equally important to individual results are how successful are we at developing good citizens who are respectful and work hard. Equally important to school wide results is our overall school climate. In all areas, we are VERY proud of our results!
If you are interested in learning more about MCAS and your child’s individual results please give us call or check our the Parent’s Guide to MCAS which can be found at the link below.

Important Note Regarding Report Cards
The calendar that was shared out to begin the year regarding the dates Report Cards will be sent home was incorrect. First term report cards will be sent home on December 7th, not November 30th. We apologize for the confusion.
First grade had a blast at the Museum of Science this week!
Thank You!!
