You Don't Want This, Do You?
Well, there is a way to avoid pile up in landfills. The method is called: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!
Reduce
The first step in avoiding waste is to reduce. One example of something you can do to reduce is change to energy bulbs. These are the swirled bulbs and they help reduce the amount of energy distributed. Another example is to turn off the water when you are brushing your teeth, lathering in soap, shaving, etc. in order to reduce the amount of water used.
Reuse
The next step is to Reuse. In order to reuse, you can do simple things such as saving containers and using them for other products. Or you could keep plastic bags you acquire from stores and use them to get your groceries the next time.
Recycle
The final step in the never-ending cycle is Recycle. This is really important in order to keep landfills clean and pollution at a low level. By recycling plastic bottles, milk jugs, plastic material, etc., you can help save a landfill from being crowded by materials that take years and years to decompose. Just having a recycle bin can prevent tons of waste and have a great impact on the environment.
