Third Grade News
Believe it or not, we have made it - the final week of school is upon us!!! We would be remiss if we didn’t send out a great big thank you to all of you, and most especially to all of the kids, for making this year so wonderful. Each one of your children has become so special to us, and we will always cherish them for the lessons they have taught us throughout the year. All of these children are remarkable and amazing in their own way, and we will always hold them dear in our hearts. Please know, our doors will always be open to you and these kids. We will miss everyone terribly and can’t wait to see these kids as the leaders of the school next year!

MULTIPLICATION
We need students to start memorizing the 0-10 facts, if they haven’t already. It is very important that they practice these skills at home – five minutes nightly. This practice can be done on the computer, with an app, with a music CD, or with flashcards. Start with 0 facts, 1 facts, 2 facts, 5 facts, and 10 facts. These are the easiest! Then move to the 3 and 4 facts, etc. Flashcards can be found at the Dollar Store. Check out these websites for some different ideas on how to get started:

Thank you for understanding the importance of parent help and support at home. Children cannot succeed unless they have someone at home that not only believes in them, but will help them reach their goals.
