Schools in New Zealand sometimes receive bomb threats

Our procedure (as found on Schooldocs) is as follows:

In the event of a bomb threat, we have procedures in place to minimise risk to everyone on school grounds.

We seek the advice of the New Zealand Police if a threat is made. Waipipi School follows the advice of all authorities and may evacuate the immediate area if advised.

If we do have to evacuate the school premises:

Once all students and staff are out of harms way and accounted for, we will contact all parents to advise you what the Police are recommending. This will be done via the school app and we will make phone calls to parents whom we know do not have access to the school app.
