Progress Reports - This year, progress report grades will be available on Infinite Campus. Please log in to the portal to see your child's grades. If you need your password or any assistance, please call the elementary school office at 719-657-4030 ext. 2000.


Fees - Please make sure to pay all fees as soon as possible.

GETTING TO KNOW OUR STAFF

We are so lucky to have the best staff around! Our staff is committed to doing what is best for our students! Throughout the school year, I will introduce you to all of the individuals that care for your children each and every day!

SECURITY AT OUR SCHOOL

The Upper Rio Grande School District is committed to ensuring all students and staff are safe. Last school year, a School Resource Officer and a Security Guard were hired.


Lyle Tuoti is our School Resource Office and Manuel Quintana is our Security Guard.

MEET OUR SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER, MR. LYLE TUOTI

Big picture
This is Lyle's second year in his current position. He has worked in the Upper Rio Grande School District for six years. In the past he has been a police officer, a deputy sheriff, a railroad conductor, and a security officer.


He grew up in Independence, Missouri. He enjoys fishing, hunting, mountain biking, riding ATVs, camping, handgun shooting, reloading ammunition, and family time.


Lyle's favorite book is The Book of Mormon and his favorite movie is Saving Private Ryan. His favorite sports team is BYU football.


Lyle likes the color blue. His favorite snack is almonds and his favorite food is his wife's spaghetti.


His most memorable childhood memory is when he received his Eagle Scout Award.


The thing Lyle enjoys most about his job is meeting and conversing with students and staff and finding out about their lives and passions.


Lyle enjoys Del Norte Elementary because of the awesome positivity that he can feel on a daily basis which he says is a direct reflection of the teachers and staff!

MEET OUR SECURITY GUARD, MR. MANUEL QUINTANA

Big picture
Manuel is the hardest worker you will ever meet! Manuel has worked for the Upper Rio Grande School District for 18 years. Before he came to the school he worked at the saw mill in South Fork for 33 years.


He loves to work and watch sports. His favorite movie is Tombstone and he loves the Denver Broncos. He likes the color red. Manuel's favorite snack is a Snickers bar and he enjoys Chinese food.


Manuel's most memorable childhood memory is growing up with his family.


KIDS! Manuel loves the kids and they are the reason he loves his job.


Manuel enjoys working at Del Norte Elementary School because everyone here is all about taking care of kids.
