Second Semester Student Schedules
- AM/PM cohort assignment
- Student attendance hours
- Second semester (3rd quarter) class schedule
AM/PM assignments and second semester schedules are based on a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, academic programming needs, family enrollment choices K-8, and transportation, to name a few. While schedule changes midyear are never ideal, please be assured that our grade level teachers are actively collaborating with their content area colleagues to ensure a smooth transition for all students who have a second semester schedule change. In addition, if your child will be repeating a Fine & Practical Arts (FPA) course during the second semester, our FPA teachers are working with our Curriculum Department and their respective Jefferson colleagues on second semester student learning experiences.

Student Academic Support Period
Curbside Book Pickup
We have expanded our LRC curbside book pickup hours. Hours are now flexible and can be scheduled at the convenience of our Jackson families' schedules. A reminder of the checkout process, including our flexible pickup procedures, is as follows:
- Students use Destiny Discover to select books and place them on hold for pickup.
- Students complete a form indicating the day and time they will be picking up their book(s).
- Pickup takes place at the LRC door (Door #13) located at the back of the building.
We hope you find this process convenient to meet the needs of families, as we want to support and encourage our students and their reading. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Jilek, our LRC Specialist, at tjilek@d45.org.
