If you recall, in your Scentsy New Consultant Start-Up Guide it reads, “POLICY FOR INACTIVITY: A Consultant must have $150 in Personal Retail Sales Volume (PRV) in one of the last three months to continue his or her agreement with Scentsy. Any Consultant who does not place an order for at least $150 PRV in any one of the last three months will be terminated from Scentsy. The $150 PRV can come from individual customer orders, party orders, or online orders made through your website (or purchase of the scent or warmer of the month package.) Example: In EITHER April, May, or June a Consultant would need to place an order or orders that add up to $150 PRV. (My interjection: It is great if you can place it as a party because then you get free shipping and free and half-priced Scentsy products as well!) If she did not have $150 PRV in April or May, she would need to have $150 PRV in June to stay enrolled.” IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: So basically, even if a consultant has $75 in orders one month and $75 the next it does not count, it MUST be at least $150 total retail within 1 month. In other words, no three months can go by without $150 in orders being placed in ONE of those months, without the 3rd month resulting in termination if an order of $150 is not placed before the 3rd month ends. Yes it all has to be in one month. Consultants get confused and think it is cumulative over the last 2 months, no- it is $150+ all placed within the same month.

I invite you to really look at your Scentsy business as a great way to bring in income. Many successful consultants have said, “The smellin’ does the sellin” and honestly, what other business out there has products that are as easy to sell as Scentsy? If you find yourself feeling that you are out of options and don’t know what else to do besides just letting yourself terminate, I urge you to contact me or another one of your up-lines. We would love to brainstorm with you to assist you to find ideas that you feel you can really succeed at this month to stay active. Now is the time to follow up with all of your past hostesses and customers and let them know about the specials going on this month, or to introduce someone new to Scentsy.
There are lots of fun ways to get your customers excited about Scentsy, such as doing a "mystery hostess" party (you can even do an online party or a basket party...let someone take advantage of the great hostess rewards that Scentsy offers without the hassle of having a party in their homes, and without you having to gather all the orders yourself.) Ask me or another up-line for details.
You are a valued member of the team, if there is anything that I can do to help, please let me know- or if there are any specific areas you would like training on. I would hate to see you become inactive... (Then if you want to sell Scentsy you would have to wait 6 months and then purchase the kit again. Scentsy is very firm on this.) So don't hesitate, contact your customers today! It is worth it to remain a consultant even if it is just to get your own Scentsy for a discount.
Scentsy no longer grants extensions. However, if you feel you have had special circumstances in life, then after you are terminated you can try emailing Scentsy at email@example.com with your name and ID# and the reason that you are requesting to be reinstated, and they will get back to you and let you know whether or not your request is approved.
