Top 20

As a supplement to our Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS), Rosa Parks is becoming a Top 20 school. Through Top 20 we are focusing on social emotional training and materials to empower our students and staff to make a positive difference in the quality of their lives, relationships and experiences. The Top 20 curriculum creates a common language covering a variety of topics and "star qualities" to support student engagement and success. These topic will be shared in more detail in our Puma newsletters. Check out our "Top 20 Focus" each month to learn along with us!

Fundraising Made Easy (From your PTO)

The Rosa Parks PTO is a parent organization that directly supports all students and staff at Rosa Parks. All of the money raised in the PTO goes directly back to your children at Rosa Parks. Some examples of things the PTO has provided include: wobble chairs, rugs for classrooms, paying for field trips, books for classrooms, etc. So, how can you help?? Anyone is welcome to attend monthly meetings in the media center. You can also help by fundraising. Rosa Parks PTO is committed to not asking our students to sell things door to door. Here are some easy ways that you can support the PTO:

Amazon Smile: Follow this link: https://smile.amazon.com/ch/30-0648334 to sign up and a percentage of the purchase price is donated to Rosa Parks PTO every time you shop on Amazon.

Box Top For Education App: Download it on your phone, select Rosa Parks Elementary, and start scanning box tops. Money is donated to the PTO each time you scan!

Hy Vee Receipts and Coke Bottle Caps can be turned in at Rosa Parks. These also generate money for the PTO.

Stay tuned for upcoming "Rosa Parks nights out" at local restaurants!

THANK YOU for your support!
