Class of 2020 Internship Summer Information
Please check the Schoology group over the summer. We are receiving lots of leads of businesses who are interested in interns for the upcoming year and are working to place students over the summer.
VBCPS Transportation Forms
It is very important for us to have forms for out-of-zone academy students. If you have not yet returned a transportation form for the 2019-20 school year, please return the attached completed form to Ms. Timlin in the Main Office at Kempsville High School or email the form to email@example.com
TCC Fall On Campus Classes
Students taking Fall Classes on TCC's campus (Accounting, Economics & Biology) are reminded that classes start and follow the TCC calendar. Classes begin on Monday, August 19, 2019.
If a student needs transportation for these courses from Kempsville HS to TCC and back for the two weeks prior to the start of VBCPS, please let Ms. Timlin know by email firstname.lastname@example.org by 8/5.
Textbooks for Fall on campus classes are purchased by VBCPS and can be picked up at Kempsville High School in the Main Office from Ms. McKittrick starting on August 12. The Lab Manual required for Biology is purchased individually by each family/student.
Requests for Reports
We have received a number of inquires regarding requesting reports for students community service hours, master classes, and job shadow requirements. We will only print these once a year (to save paper). Students can request these reports at anytime by emailing our Office Associate Ms. Cora McKittrick at mailto:email@example.com .
Please note that we do want STUDENTS to request their reports and advocate for themselves. This is an important skill that we are trying to teach them - on that same note, we will never turn them away from parents, if you want to request them, please know that you need to be a parent who is linked to the student Synergy page to request this information.
