We Need Your Help!
As most of you know arrival and dismissal can be a hectic time. We would appreciate it if you could help us out by following the procedures we have put in place. This will make the process smoother for everyone. When driving through the parking lot please continue driving through until you see an open parking spot rather than stopping and waiting for a parking spot to open up. This will help with flow of traffic and ease some of the congestion on Curtis and Doris Road. We highly recommend the use of the loop for quick and easy dropoff and pick up.
If you are choosing to use the parking lot/parent walk up you must park in a legal parking spot and then utilize the crosswalk to walk your child to and from the school doors. Parking in the illegal spaces is preventing our buses from coming or going and is causing traffic congestion. You need to walk your students up to the building. Once again, If you would like to stay in your vehicle and drop off your student please use the Loop. . Thank you for your cooperation.

FREE Chromebooks still available!
Good Afternoon LPS Families,
As you may recall, earlier this school year we offered free Chromebooks for students to use at home thanks to a grant from the FCC Emergency Connectivity Fund. This communication is to remind families of this opportunity as there are many Chromebooks still available. As we have distributed Chromebooks throughout this school year, we have had a number of questions asked by our families. We would like to answer some of these questions here to provide clarification around this wonderful opportunity.
Q: Can I get a Chromebook for every student in my household who attends Livonia Public Schools?
A: Yes. Any student, regardless of grade level, can receive a Chromebook.
Q: Do we have to return the Chromebook at the end of the school year or if my student is changing buildings within the district?
A: No. Students will keep the Chromebook at home for as long as they are with Livonia Public Schools. (These Chromebooks are configured to run only with a Livonia Public Schools email address.)
Q: Who is responsible if the Chromebook is damaged (for example: broken screen, missing keys, cracked case)?
A: Livonia Public Schools is not able to offer repair services in the event a Chromebook is damaged nor will the district be charging families for damage to a Chromebook. If a family wishes to have the Chromebook repaired, the family would be responsible for the costs associated with that repair.
Q: Does the student’s parent/guardian have to pick up the Chromebook?
A: No. Anyone (including the student) can pick up the Chromebook providing they show a picture ID so we can record who picked up the device.
Parents/guardians can complete the form below to request a district Chromebook for your student to use at home. Parents/guardians should carefully read the agreement in the form to be sure you understand and agree to all conditions of this program. These devices are to remain at home. Students do not need to bring the devices to school. If you have multiple students in the district requiring a device, please complete the form for each student. Once you have completed the form, you will receive an email explaining how to pick up the Chromebook.
