The Seven Days

The seven days battle started June 26 186 and ended July 1,1862. The federal army supplied 100,000 soldiers and posted them on the Chickahominy River. This battle would later be recognized as having the most savage and remarkable campaigns of the American Civil War.The North being under the command of Robert E. Lee who is on the offensive side against George B. McClellan. During the seven days there were repeated blows on the Beaver Dam Creek, Gaines Mill Salvage Station, Glendale, and Marvin Hill.Lee offered a new ear of combat at that unnerved McClellan, but would force the evacuation of the Union out of their region. Lee's victory would mean there is going to be a continuous battle for the next three years.
