BULLYING

LET'S NOT BULLY!!

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO GET BULLIED

People can get bullied in many different ways. These are two ways someone could get bullied:

  • Cyber Bullying

Cyber Bullying is when someone gets bullied on-line. This means a bully posts mean and rude things on the internet about another person (the target/victim).

  • Verbal Bullying

While Cyber Bullying is saying mean things on-line, Verbal Bullying is saying mean things in person. The bully can say things such as: "You are ugly," or "She only gets bad marks" and things like that.

TWO MORE WAYS TO BE BULLIED

These are the other two ways people can get bullied.

  • Physical Bullying

Physical Bullying is when the bully hurts someone (the target/victim) by physically hurting them. This means the bully can: kick, punch, hit, push and do many more things.

  • Social Bullying

Social Bullying is when the bully embarrasses the target/victim in public, or spreads false rumours about them. Social Bullying can also be when the bully encourages someone else not to be the target/victim's friend.

WHY DOES A BULLY EVEN BULLY???

A bully is often upset, they don't feel good about themselves, or are going through a hard state in life. They choose that, if they can't be happy, no one can. Or, they are friends with a bully and want to be like their friend, without realizing that they are also being a bully.

BYSTANDERS

Bystanders are people who watch the target/victim get bullied, and don't do anything about it. Bystanders are like their name: by-standers, they just stand by.

AFFECTS OF AND HOW TO PREVENT BULLYING

  • Affects of Bullying

Bullying can make the target/victim constantly worried and anxious. They can always be upset, and feel bad about themselves.

  • How To Prevent Bullying

  1. If you are being bullied, first, walk away, then, if they continue, tell them to stop. Finally, if they still continue, tell an adult you trust.
  2. If you see someone being bullied, stop the bully, or tell an adult.
