News & Information for Tiger Families

Letter from the Principal

Tiger Families,

This week has been an exciting and busy week. On Tuesday, Father Declan Gibson visited with 2nd - 8th grade to discuss the importance of attending mass and receiving communion. Our students were then able to engage with him about what made him decide to become a priest and the importance of his mission: Eucharistic Adoration Mission.

Wednesday, was a great day as Father Joseph welcomed Grandparents to St. Teresa Church with a wonderful mass. After mass we welcomed 197 grandparents/grandfriends into St. Teresa School. What a blessing all of our grandparents are to our school and community.

A HUGE shout out to our faculty, staff, and students for raising $417 for Sacred Heart School in Kaneohe, Hawaii! It was fun seeing the students in their Hawaiian gear on Thursday and Friday!

Thank you to everyone who purchased books from the Book Fair. Did you know that your purchase ensures that St. Teresa School can continue to have a library? Our Book Fair ensures that our Library is self sustaining, so thank you for your generosity!

Safe and Sacred Permission Slips must be returned no later than October 12th.

As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership.

Sincerely,

Nicole Green

Principal

Thank you to everyone who sent in envelopes already.

The St. Teresa Finance Committee is asking for your help to make this years Annual Fund a success!

For this appeal, we will be having students send personalized items to grandparents and other family members explaining why they like attending St. Teresa School. We will also include a letter explaining how the funds that are donated are used and what they go towards.

In order to ensure that the appeals for donation are sent to the appropriate family/friends, we ask that each student send in two stamped envelopes that are addressed to the individuals whom they should be sent to by Monday, September 18th.

Walk for the Poor Kickoff

The Annual St. Vincent De Paul Walk for the Poor campaign has officially begun! The students are being challenged once again to do a good deed (or two;) to earn their donations. Because of your generosity last year, the Jr. St. Vincent DePaul was able to present a check to our local SVDP Society for over $1,300! No amount is too small to support the Society's efforts to improve the lives of the hurting and suffering in our area.

Please direct all questions to Mrs. Barbie Duncan at: barbie.duncan@stteresatigers.org. Thank you for your support!
