Principal Manning's Message
Greetings,
I hope everyone had a great weekend! This school year is fast approaching and I want to thank the community for your support! Thursday, November 10th at 9:00 am until 10:00 am. We are inviting our "Veterans" to join us at New Hope High School for a "Breakfast Brunch". As our community continues to grow; we want to ensure that we connect with everyone who mean so much to our past and future success.

7th and 8th grades Student-Centered Parent/Student Conference
Parents, this will be the first time our 7th and 8th grade students will sit down with their parents and explain their progress. A sign up list will be sent out soon so parents can sign up for a 20 min conference session. We hope you can join us. (Please look for more details soon)

Veterans Day, in the United States, national holiday (November 11) honoring veterans of the armed forces and those killed in the country's wars. The observance originated in 1919 on the first anniversary of the 1918 armistice that ended World War I and was known as Armistice Day.

Attention Seniors: Prestige will be on campus November 8th for any Senior who has not taken their Senior pictures including Tux/Drape Pictures. Be on the lookout for information to sign-up for a time slot. (The Tux/Drape picture is for the Yearbook entry) or see Mrs. Moran in room 132 for more information.

Unexcused Attendance as of , 2022. October Please turn in Excuses ASAP!
Students are eligible for four parent notes this semester and four next semester. If your child's excuse is a parent note, you may email jsadams@mcssk12.org or chubbard@mcssk12.org.
Please turn them in to the front office as soon as possible. Contact Mrs. Jennifer Duster or Mrs. Franetta Ryans if you don't recall the dates. If you notice, the unexcused numbers are going up. Please send notes asap.
Pertinent Information
Tardy Policy
When students acquire their 3rd unexcused tardy to school, they will be assigned to either AM or PM detention. On the 4th unexcused tardy, they will be given two days of either AM or PM confinement. On the 5th and beyond unexcused tardy, students will be assigned time in In School Suspension (ISS).
Unexcused check-in and unexcused check-out policy:
Students who check in and out for unexcused reasons will be assigned AM or PM detention when they acquire their 3rd offense. These policies are in place to keep our students in school every day. Please reach out to the office if you have any questions.

Field Trip!
Attention Ninth Grade Parents,
Your child will be attending a field trip Tuesday, November 15th to the Madison County Tech Center on Jordan Road. I have given permission forms to all ninth graders and sent out a mass email to all ninth grade parents. If you have not responded yet, please send Mr. Lawler an email giving your child permission to go. Mr. Lawler's email is rlawler@madison.k12.al.us. Thank you!
