Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is the development of symptoms following exposure to a traumatic event.
What are the Signs & Symptoms?
- Reliving the traumatic event
- Avoiding reminders of the trauma
- Emotional numbness
- Hypervigilance
How does it affect someone?
It effects someone by making them jumpy, have trouble sleeping, eating less/more, concentrating less, making them stressed, and to cause this it involves direct personal experience that involved threatened or actual death or injury to a family member or close friend.
