Artists of the Month
The Nurse's Nook!
Welcome Back! As the school year begins, please make sure the School Nurse is aware of any student medical concerns, such as asthma, allergies, seizures, diabetes, etc. A copy of an Asthma Treatment Plan, Allergy Action Plan, or the Medication Consent Form can be found on the district website at www.btboe.org under the Menu Tab, under Parents, Health Services, and Health Forms. A Medication Consent Form must be completed by the student’s physician for ANY medication to be administered at school, prescription or over the counter, including cough drops. All medication must be brought to the school by the Parent or Guardian. Please contact the School Nurse, Mrs. Cofone, with any questions at 732-269-2909 ext. 2005. Looking forward to a great school year!
Helpful Tips for Students to have a Healthy School Year:
Eat breakfast every morning
Get plenty of sleep each night
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated
Eat healthy foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains
Brush your teeth twice a day
Exercise
Have Fun!
