Morning Greeting
Good Morning Song for Kids (with lyrics) | The Singing Walrus

At school we help each other stay safe by always using our listening ears. Today we will commit to use our walking feet. A commitment is a promise you make. Repeat this phrase : " I commit to use listening ears"

Let's practice using our listening ears.

Morning Message

Write the sentence saying each word as you write. Place your hand/finger under each word in the sentence and have children say it with you. Say the sentence again. Encourage them to say it again, this time tapping their knees for each word they say. Check that children are tapping the words and not the syllables.

Point out the letters that appear in the morning message and in your child's name. For example SAY: " The letter A is in the word happy and am, Anna and Ava also have the letter A in their names."

Monday's Sentence : I am happy.
