Seniors 2020 Updates

Dear Blue Hills Graduates and Families:

How are you and your families doing? We have been very busy. The virus may have caused some detours and redesigns of your senior year but it will not steal your graduation. On May 13, the Graduation Committee met and reviewed feedback, ideas, and discussed plans for graduation during this unprecedented and historic time. We are planning a special and memorable "rolling" graduation ceremony that will feature each shop graduating together! Value the relationships you built over the last four years and make the most of the rest of our time together.

Although you will always remember this painful time, you will be the one and only class of 2020 that Blue Hills will ever have! Learn from your experiences and every obstacle. Look forward, stay optimistic, work hard, have fun and remember the best is yet to come.

Seniors - A Look Ahead!

May 20, 21 & May 26, 27, 28 - Senior Locker Cleanout, Book Return, Fan Cloth pickup, and CAPS and GOWNS! You should have received detailed instructions as well as your pickup/drop off time in a separate email. If you have not received it by Monday, May 18, please email your guidance counselor.

Details on Senior Pickup/Returns: See document below.

May 29 - 6 p.m. - Senior Awards Night Broadcast. Be sure to tune in - we will be playing the senior slideshow as well. Link to the video will be sent out once available.

June 1 - 10 a.m. - SENIOR CAR PARADE at Blue Hills. Decorate your car and come drive through the campus. Your teachers will be there to wave and congratulate you! Please arrive at school at 10 a.m. and enter through the Massasoit gates. You will be instructed to park until the parade is ready to start. Let's celebrate your last official day of high school!

June 9 - 12:00 noon - 7 p.m. - BHR Class of 2020 Graduation. A schedule and more information will be sent out next week. Decorate your caps and your cars! Walk across the stage and get your diploma - you have earned it! We hope to release the final schedule next week after Governor Baker updates us on the state's Covid-19 response on May 18th. Stay tuned!

We look forward to celebrating all you have achieved and accomplished - here's to you!
