The cost is $50 and checks can be made payable to the Pickerington North Softball Booster Club, PO Box 308, Pickerington, OH 43147. Players will receive a free camp tshirt and have the opportunity to purchase Pickerington North Softball apparel. Registration must be completed by January 6th. Parents can contact Coach Looker via email (Sarah_Looker@PLSD.us) to register for the camp.
Reminders for Parents/Guardians
Pick up early and Dropping off late: You only need to come into the building when you are signing out your student early. Please remember to bring a photo ID with you. If you are dropping off your child late, you do NOT need to walk them into the building. We will teach said students to sign themselves in.
Changing how your child goes home: As long as your child is aware of how they are getting home, you do NOT need to call the office to let us know. You can, however, call the office if you would like us to remind your child of the change in plans. If you are changing the way your child goes home and need to get a message to your child, please call the office before 2:30 pm. After 2:30 pm, we cannot guarantee that the message will get to your child in time for dismissal.
Sleeping in school: Please, PLEASE, make sure your child is getting enough sleep at home. School is NOT the place to nap or to sleep for hours. We are seeing WAY TOO MANY students sleeping in class, or for the entire day. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. If Mrs. G is not allowed to nap during the day, the students are not either.
Counselor's Corner
This month's classroom lesson will be focusing on mental health and the impact of stress on the brain. Looking forward to January we will be talking and learning about Social Justice during guidance lessons!
We are quickly approaching the end of the 2nd quarter. Please check in with your student to see how they are doing and if they have missing assignments. When we return from Winter Break 6th graders will begin planning for their 7th grade classes! More information to come about this.
