December is Here
with snow, cocoa, and cheer!
Winter arrived with a flurry as we wrapped up a November packed full of fun. Even though December is going to be a short month for AKTEACH we still have lots of activities to come in and enjoy. Take a look at our jam-packed calendar at the end of this newsletter for our full December schedule.
This Month We will be Visiting SCANDINAVIA!
We had a great turnout for the first leg of our Amazing Race! Seven families raced, and times ranged from 14:21 to 28:18. Our next leg will be on Monday, December 12th at 1:30. The geographic area we will be focusing on is Scandinavia. If you didn’t come to the first leg, and still want to join, you certainly may! In the cumulative times, you will be assigned the slowest time plus five minutes for any missed legs. We hope to see you there!

So Much Spooky Fun!
In November we sent so many boxes to deployed service members for Veterans Day thanks to the table full of goodies our generous family members donated. We also enjoyed a special visit from two very cool veterans who shared some of their fascinating experiences.
We also took another virtual field trip to the Denver Museum to learn about the evolution of the T-Rex to the turkey
Our Thanksgiving Party was filled with lots of giggles as we turkey trotted down the hallway,
Crafted Placemats and Tie Dye Turkeys, and Ate Delicious Snacks.
Finally, we wrapped up this month with an Amazing Race!
Students competed in teams in a race around Central Office in our United States themed first leg.
including having to pass
a road block of
