Our Kids Heart Challenge program is kicking off on February 17! We are proud to support the American Heart Association and Be the Torch in the fight against heart disease and stroke! Our goal is to have 100% of our school families join the team and learn Hands Only CPR through Finn’s Mission. Don’t wait, get started TODAY! JOIN THE CALDECOTT CLUB!
To encourage our students to read the very best in children's literature, the library hosts an incentive program celebrating the wonderful artwork of Caldecott Award winning books.
To participate, 1st-3rd grade students should read three Caldecott winning books and do art projects based on the illustrations. Students who turn in 3 different projects to the library by May 1st will be invited to our Ice Cream Social! Directions for the art projects can be found here: Art instructions.
Calling all writers! The Monty Times needs you! If your 4th, 5th or 6th grader wants to create, investigate, write a story, write some jokes or edit a newspaper, have them come to the first Monty Times meeting on Wednesday, February 15 from 1:30 -2:30 to find out more. Meeting will be in Room 4109.

Are you looking for live, funny, family-friendly entertainment in La Crescenta?Then Join Crescenta Valley for their next COMEDYSPORTZ Match in the Underground Theater at Crescenta Valley High School on Thursday, February 16, at 5:00 PM.
What is ComedySportz? - Not Comedy about sports - Comedy PLAYED as a sport! Two teams of high school "act-letes" compete for audience laughs and points while improvising scenes, games, operas, and musicals based on YOUR suggestions. The audience is always a part of the show, voting for the winners and sometimes even winding up on stage. Clean, family-friendly entertainment for ALL ages! Admission for this match is only $5! Come and support our new players and laugh with them!
SAVE THE DATE FOR THE PTA MONTY'S NIGHT OUT!
Please join us on Friday, April 28 from 6:30-9:30pm at Golden Road Brewery for a fun evening with parents and teachers (no kiddos, please!). This is a great chance for parents and teachers to mix, mingle and unwind outside of the normal school setting.

PTA ASSOCIATION MEETING & FOUNDER'S DAY!
