Strengthening Your ICAP Workshops
February 10, February 24, and March 10
Join us for 3 separate trainings on the ICAP this spring!
The overwhelming response from school districts about their District Career and Academic Plan and their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) is that it is important work, but they know they could be doing it better. That's why we are here to help! Join Katy Blatnick-Gagne, Career and Technical Education Program Consultant for the Iowa Department of Education, and Mark Shea, Postsecondary Readiness Lead for Prairie Lakes and Northwest AEA, for three opportunities to work with your ICAP team to enhance your plan to support students' college and career readiness plans through the ICAP.

ICAP Workshop Day #3: Becoming a Meaningful Career Conversationalist
The ICAP is more than the Career Information System you are using. It is even more than the 5 Essential Components. It is truly about helping students reach their career goals after they leave your school. One of the best ways to do that is through Meaningful Career Conversations. Learn how everyone in your school can learn to help your students reach their aspirations and potential by becoming Meaningful Career Conversationalists.
