Language Arts
This week we will discuss what good readers do. We will focus on making connections. We will also review synonyms. Synonyms are words or phrases that mean exactly, or almost exactly, the same thing. Synonyms from this week include: comprehend/understand; task/job; and honest/truthful.
Social Studies
This week in social studies, students will learn about the 50 states and their locations. We will also review directions: north, east, south, and west.
