POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS & SUPPORTS
What are the elements of PBIS?
- Teaching and reinforcing school-wide behavior expectations to all students in all settings.
- Intervening early, often, and with purpose.
- A multi-tiered system of supports that provides:
- Implementation of effective evidence-based practices and interventions.
- Ongoing monitoring of student progress from multiple data points.
- Using collected data to make impactful decisions.
- Using assessment measures to:
a. Compare circumstances and trends
b. Identify specific challenges and barriers
c. Monitor progress
Tier 1 PBIS Team Training
- Defined behavior expectations, which include 3-5 positively stated expectations
- Teaching behavior expectations, which includes formal lesson plans on teaching behavior throughout the school
- School-wide acknowledgement system for regularly reinforcing positive student behavior
- Consequence system and definitions and procedures for classroom and office managed behaviors
- Data-based decision making system utilized to summarize, inform, and intervene to address behavior support efforts
- Management with regular leadership meetings with administrator and district supports for implementation

Registration Fee:
$1,160.00 per 6 Person team
(each team receives 1 Binder. Additional binders can be purchased at $88 per binder).
**Teams should be EITHER Building PBIS Team or District PBIS Team. You can also register both teams; however, we cannot accept a combination of the two as one team, without prior approval.**
