All the Signs
Miss Joseph’s chapel message focused on signs. At first, we looked at different signs we might see along the road such as a stop sign, a yield sign, or children at play. We talked about where we might see the different signs and the importance of following the signs. Miss Joseph asked the students if they thought Jesus and his disciples might have seen road signs along their path they walked. They agreed that the disciples would not have seen these types of signs. God’s Word tells us about other signs that Jesus’ followers saw such as Jesus’ first miracle of turning water into wine (John 2:1-11).
Road signs help us to be safe. They also give us direction to a destination. Jesus’ signs show that His destination was the cross. Jesus, the miracle worker, would bring about the miracle of salvation for all of us.
We may not always see or obey all the traffic signs. Just as it is important to obey the traffic signs, we need to see the signs of who Jesus is and what He has done for us. We read His Word, look at, believe and follow these signs that point to His glory.

Be Prepared for the Winter Season!
Now that the winter season is definitely upon us, here are a few reminders:
*Weather permitting, students go outside for recess or take walks in the neighborhood for their lessons.
*Make sure your child is prepared for the cold weather with a warm jacket, hats, gloves, and scarf. You may even want to send a few pairs of gloves or mittens when they get wet from playing in the snow. Your child should also wear boots when there is snow on the ground. Please send shoes for your child to change into while inside.
*Students have the opportunity to play in the snow. You may want to send snow pants. Only children with snow pants are permitted to play in the snow piles.

A message from our Director of Marketing & Enrollment - Mrs. Bateman
Next week we will be opening enrollment for the 22/23 school year. As an existing family, your enrollment will be "rolled over" for the new school year and there is nothing further you need to do. Your registration fee, which holds your child's spot, will be automatically applied to your FACTS account in Mid-March (more information will be in the letter coming home next week). We are looking forward to another exciting year and hope you are too!
In addition to thinking ahead to 22/23. Do you know a family or friend who is looking for a change in 2022? They don't need to wait until next August to join the St. Philip family...in most cases, new students can start with us throughout the year!

Let Us Pray For You
We ask God to help us see Jesus’ signs which point to His grace and forgiveness.
We pray for all those affected by illness. We especially pray for members of our St. Philip community.
We continue to pray for families who are struggling with challenges. May God give them strength to endure.
We pray for health and safety among our students, families, and staff.
We ask God to bless our new chapel offering recipient, the Belize Mission Society Scholarship Program. May our gifts help to spread the Gospel to students in Belize.
