Fall Party Fun -- Robert Frost & Challenge Center
Principal Corner
First quarter has come and gone in a blink! We have had many comments from both staff, students, and parents that this has been the best start to the school year, yet. A positive start to the school year only happens when everyone is working together. With that being said, a huge THANK YOU to our guardians/parents for your support in our work as we educate your children. A big THANK YOU to our staff who work tirelessly to go the extra mile to ensure our students are growing both academically and in their character. Finally, a loud SHOUT OUT to our students who demonstrate grit and perseverance each and every day. We are learning that we grow the most in our learning when we persevere when it is tough. #roadrunnerway
Because our students' safety is our number one priority, we ask for everyone's help in the following ways:
Drop-off/Pick-up Lane
- The student drop-off/pick-up lane is a one way lane.
- Please enter the lane on the south side (40th Street) and exit on the north side (38th Street).
Dropping off from the street:
- If dropping off children from the street, please pull over to the curb so the child is not stepping into the street.
- Please refrain from stopping in the middle of the street, turning on the flashers, and having your child get out in the middle of the road.
Thank you, everyone! Let's get ready for a wonderful November!

Quiz Bowl
Reminder to be studying your Quiz Bowl questions and gathering pledges! Pledge sheets due back at school on Monday, November 4th to receive a small prize.
Quiz Bowl Volunteers needed!
The RF/CC PTO is looking for adult volunteers to help with our Quiz Bowl event on November 8th. There are two main areas where we need help, described below.
Quiz Bowl Readers
We need 15 adults to come to school the morning of November 8th and read quiz questions to Kindergarten and 1st graders, and record their answers using Chromebooks. You will need to fill out the volunteer form at school when you arrive, as well as sign in with your driver's license.
Sort and Record Pledge sheets, count money
We need two adults to help organize pledge sheets, record pledges received, and count money. It would be helpful if you can bring a laptop to work on, but if you don't have one it isn't necessary.
Please use the link below to sign up! (May need to copy and paste it into your browser.)
