JA BizTown is a 10,000 square foot city located in uptown Charlotte. Each day, 75-130 fourth and fifth grade students visit JA BizTown to participate in a simulated community/town. Volunteers help students navigate JA BizTown during the on-site simulations. Volunteers work with a small group of students to help them manage their assigned JA BizTown shop. When students ask for assistance, volunteers provide advice regarding important business and personal finance decisions. Time Required: Approximately 4-5 hours.
