We are excited to have Baylor University back sharing their campus tradition with LTHS students. All students are welcomed to stop by the Baylor Dr. Pepper truck on Wednesday, April 13th immediately after school is dismissed. They will be handing out Dr. Pepper floats and Baylor swag in a branded Baylor Dr. Pepper Hour truck. It's a great opportunity to talk to students who are part of Baylor University campus life and learn more about the University.
Birthday in a Box: Everyone should be able to celebrate their birthday, so one of our students, who is working on her Girl Scout Gold project, has started a drive to collect materials to make birthday boxes for teens to celebrate their birthdays. Essentially it is everything you need for a birthday party inside a decorated box. She will be gathering supplies in the next few weeks, then will decorate and assemble the boxes to stock them at the Cav Lounge here at LTHS and the Buc Lounge at Hudson Bend MS Her goal is 25 boxes by the first week of May.
