Hawaii women sought for national contraception study
Dr. Bliss Kaneshiro has begun investigating the efficacy of three different regimens in women with high body mass index and may one day benefit women who need immediate contraception. She hopes to include 100 women from the state among the 1200 being recruited nationwide for the new study. More info UH Med Now.
Witnessing students’ passion for medicine reassures scholarship donor of his choice to give
JABSOM's Annual Scholarship Dinner allowed Timothy In to meet some of the MD students who are supported by financial scholarships. Witnessing their passion for medicine reassured him that he made the right choice in establishing the Stella Lau In Memorial Fund to honor the memory of his mother after her battle with cancer.
