Friday's Forecast
"Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!"
Goodbye Monday Memo - Hello Friday's Forecast!
Yesterday, in Leadership meeting it was recommended that I give you a look ahead to the next week, especially when the coming week involves schedule changes, so we'll begin that today.
A Look Ahead
Hello February!
Tuesday, January 30 - RTI Data Meetings
Wednesday, January 31 - Wenning out of building for TASL; Laura Deer will be acting admin.; Kindergarten training with Resha
Friday, February 2 - SOUPerbowl potluck; Dana will send out a sign up genius
Monday, February 5 - 100th Day of School celebration; I have been inspired by central office making 100 positive phone calls home, so I would like to send 100 positive office referrals to students to celebrate our students' being ready, respectful, and responsible. I'll put these in your mailbox early next week.

Info to Know
- Please be sure we are spreading out and supervising students on the playground. I know it is tempting to grade papers or be on our cell phones during this break from instruction, but supervising our students is our number 1 priority while they are at recess.
- For the refinement portion of my evaluation for first semester, Dr. Beck suggested I focus on providing more professional development and differentiating professional learning for our staff, so I will be sending you a survey of what you feel your needs are (areas you want to strengthen or something you want to learn more about) as well as your strengths. Then we will go from there. I'm very excited to hear from you.
- I have to submit the 2018-2019 budget soon, so I am shooting for the moon. Please review Dr. Beck's 5 year plan, and if you have ideas for what we need to achieve those goals here at KSES, please send me any ideas for furniture, maintenance requests, equipment, technology, etc . . . by Friday, February 9 because I have to present to Dr. Watson on February 13.
- Mrs. Lesley needs metal bottle caps for the recycling art project. Please send this information out in your weekly newsletter, Remind app, etc. . .
