Move to Five Days:
At our board meeting on February 8th, we discussed returning to school full time after spring break. Our reasoning is as follows:
- All staff who were interested in receiving the vaccine would have both doses and the time necessary for the vaccine to take maximum effect.
- Schools and families would have time to plan for a full-time return to school.
- The district would have time to see if the variants of COVID require us to change our current mitigation efforts.
Once we return five days a week (operational color yellow) it is our intention to finish the school year with this schedule barring any unforeseen circumstances. A reminder late start Mondays have been cancelled for the year. We are incredibly excited to return to school full time on April 5th. Here is a link to the Post Falls School District’s yellow operational plan: PFSD Yellow Operational Plan.pdf
We appreciate your patience and support this school year.
