Jr. High Elects Class Officers
Jr. High students were busy campaigning for class office last week. Nineteen students ran for positions ranging from Class President to Class Representative. Students who ran for President, Vice-President and Secretary presented their speeches to their Jr. High peers and waited for the voting results. Congratulations to all the brave students who ran for office!

Father vs. Daughter Volleyball Game

Learning in the Lab
Jr. High students are already having fun in the Science Lab! Seventh graders performed a Triple Balance Mass Lab using the scale to measure weight. Eighth grade students did an Engineering Bridge Construction Lab using straws and string to construct bridge supports. Then they tested their bridges' strength with their textbooks.
Blessing of the Athletes
A special tradition at Christ the King School is the annual Blessing of the Athletes mass. Students wear their team jersey or t-shirt and Msgr. Malone gives them a special blessing.
