Sacred Grief Group

A Journey Of Loss and Renewal

All of life’s most significant moments—births, graduations, marriages, and even deaths—have the capacity to bring us closer to God. They can open the door to the sacred—which is why cultures throughout the world have created ritualistic ways to honor and mark these events.

This monthly group will focus on how grief calls us to sacralize—to mark the sacredness of—both our relationship with the one we have lost, and our own lives as we walk grief's pathways.

Join us on the third Tuesday of each month, beginning March 18th, as we meet to share, to listen, and to support each other in the journey through grief. Each meeting will include time for personal reflection using prayer, meditation, guided imagery, poetry, or music.

At the end of the year there will be an opportunity to attend a half-day retreat where loved ones can be honored in a sacred ritual of remembrance.

Sponsored by the Aldersgate Family Wellness Center.

Tuesday, March 18th, 7-8:45pm
