OSC Program
Guilford County Schools has a program named, OSC at Andrews, in room #216, they are selling food, to help the students.
The program is apart of the Career Job Skills, they started over 20 years ago. They can get the skills to take out into a job. They help the students that may not want to go to a four year College. There are fourteen students and four teachers in the program. You would start your freshman year all the way up to your senior year. They have raised around six hundred dollars. This money helps them go on field trips, buy supplies for the program, and etc. One thing, they did was ring the bell for the community. They pick there food choices based on trying to found out what the staff would like and what they wanted. They have sold hotdogs, waffles, and chicken & waffles. There is no goal they just make the money for what they need. Mrs.Bennett has been apart of the program for four years, now. She said “I do and building.”
