I hope your week is off to a great start. I know many of you have either registered for classes or about to register. If you need any help, please let me know and I will provide you all resources on campus.
This month our department will be focusing on civic engagement. I will be posting alot of information that will allow you to become involved on campus and participate in volunteer opportunities.
Please let me know if you need anything at all. We are currently out of toilet paper. If you need any, please visit Liberty Residence Hall.

Cupcake Celebration
I will be baking cupcakes in honor of those with birthdays in October on October 9, 2015 at 8:30 p.m.
2015 Fall Leadership Conference
The Fall Leadership Conference is an annual event hosted by the Higdon Student Leadership Center (HSLC). The conference is free for students and consists of break-out sessions, lunch, and a keynote speaker. Break-out sessions are hosted by a variety of professionals, and are aimed at increasing the skill base and leadership knowledge of attendees. The keynote speaker is chosen every year, and closes out the day with a presentation that relates the theme of the conference to its real world application. The theme for the 2015 conference is “Anchor Your Leadership” and the event is coordinated by the HSLC team and staffed by student volunteers.

Graduate School Seminar
The George Street Apartment RAs will be hosting a seminar for those interested in attending graduate school. We will be providing information later in the month.
