Does Your Finger Really Have Style?

Hands
People wear diamond rings and get amazing tattoos for their hands. Some people put lotion on their hands to make them softer than a baby’s butt. Now if you are in a gang you wear a ring on your pinky. But you know what will look even better than some tattoo or some gang rings. Something you can wear to get all the girls and boys. You only have to buy one thing. A Marmosets Monkey. (Finger Monkey)
Cherishing The Little Ones
Taking care of finger monkeys can be hard. You know when you have to watch your younger sibling and they do the craziest things and try to drive you insane! Well thank god that Finger Monkeys are not like that! Well, there is one bad thing about them. You have to have a lot of free time and MONEY! A baby finger monkey is around 2,000-6,000 dollars. I know right? People normally spend around 10,000-15,000 dollars just to get them and their supplies. I mean who wouldn’t spend that much money on such a cute animal though. You know when your at the store and you see a toy that you really want or, you see that dog you really want. You tell your parents you will do anything if they get it for you. You tell them “I’ll do all my chores and I’ll even do my own laundry!” Or “I’ll even clean up your room and my room to!” You’ll say anything to get it. That is how you should feel about a Finger Monkey. Taking care of them is not that hard once you get all your supplies. All you need is to have 5 hours to play with them everyday. Like playing with your dog you can let your Finger Monkey play too! Also if you get a baby one, you’ll have to feed it every 2 hours. Now be careful, if you want to have baby Finger Monkeys you can, but they can have a litter of 4 babies and they can be a handful. Hahaha! More like fingerful.
Old, But Still Alive
Have you ever wondered how long a little thing like this can live? Or maybe how long has it been living? Well luckily I have all that information for you. I know you may be thinking, “Something this small can’t live long and there’s no way they have been around for long at all.” Well, your wrong. They've actually been alive for over 10,000 years. I know, “WOW!” If you think that is surprising then you will not believe this. Something this small can live from 12 to 20 years in captivity. However in the wilderness, they can live up to 20 or 30 years! So long for such little guys!
The Dirt
Have you ever wanted a nickname? Do you have a nickname? Well Luckily for Marmosets Monkey they do. Well to be correct, they have three. They are “Tiny Lions” and “Pocket Monkeys and Finger Monkeys.” See lucky for them you can call them any of them. Have you ever wanted to look behind you without turning your body? Well I know something that can. Actually I know a lot of things that can do it. I know what you are thinking, is it the world most flexible thing on earth? Well you could be right, but I know something smaller and cuter, A Finger Monkey! They can turn their head 180 degrees! Isn’t that cool. Did you also know that only 25% of baby Finger Monkeys survive to their adult year? The reason caused by this is because when they are in their nest they fall out or when their dad takes them out to teach them how to survie in the wilderness they fall off his back. I know, so sad! Why wouldn’t their parent try to save them? Well as parents they have to take care of their other kids and make sure they survie themselves. Well I know that my mom will risk her life for me, at least I hope. I know what you wondering, “Can this little thing kill me or hurt me?” Good thing I can tell you. Have you ever had a little newborn kitten try to bite you? If you have, that is what it feels like. They don’t hurt, it actually feels funny. They can jump 15 feet in the air! Who would have thought this little thing could do so many things! Did you know that a Finger Monkey can also jump to 20 different branches and have 3 to 4 different conversations all in 10 seconds! Wow! So much from a little creature. An adult weighs about 3.5 ounces and they can grow up to 5 inches tall. That is only including their body but their tail alone is 7 inches long. Altogether they are 13 inches!
Can't Say NO To This.
AWWWWW!
Come On, Don't Miss Looking At Me.
Ready And Alive
Now you are probably tired of me telling you stuff about theses little cute things and trying to buy one to take care of but first you will need to know where to look! They live in the Amazon in Brazil, such a big place for a little thing! If you were to go out and try to find one then you are going to see multiple because they live in a groups of 2-9. In their groups, they have 2 adult males and the rest are females and babies. However in the group there is only one breeding female. Now instead of tracking one down you probably would go the more reasonable route and contact a breeder.
Did You Learn a Lot?
Now... I have talked about hands, and babies falling from nests, and parents that don't care. Sounds kind of WEIRD, right?
Well, I've tried to describe how I love these little cute monkeys and I want you to love them too! I'm not asking you to give up $2,000 dollars, I just want you to appreciate these little creatures.
I mean, of course, I want Mr. Kimmel or Mrs. Jones to give me an A++++++ because I really deserve it.
I don't want to think I just wasted time on an article that gets an F. So if just one person begins to love a Finger Monkey then I've done a great job.
So, Mr. Kimmel, I know you're beautiful and Mrs. Jones is awesome, please give me an A. But if you don't, I hope you go out and get this cute adorable little animal... and if you do then you should get me one too!
