Thank you so much for helping make that vision come to life this morning!! New teachers......I promise, we really work hard to keep Bear Boogies to 30 minutes. Wylie ISD Standard Response Protocol
This was shared with parents today. Please show the video & review safety with students before Wednesday. Our first Fire Drill is Thursday. Thank you!
Wylie ISD has adopted the national recognized Standard Response Protocol (SRP). It provides common terms and uniform responses. Beginning this fall, all Wylie ISD staff and students are being trained on SRP. Birmingham teachers will be showing the following video to students next week. If you have would like further information on SRP, please visit: www.wylieisd.net/safety.
Speaking of safety....Yes, the rumor is true! Channel 11 was here with Ian Halperin this afternoon to do a story on our renovations and increased security in our schools.
Upcoming Wylie Way day on September 12th:
Please make time to review the Wylie Way lessons with your team before Wednesday.
Katie and the Wylie Way Committee will be ready to answer your questions on Wednesday at the faculty meeting and share the vision for decor and what to wear that day. In an effort to honor your time, we will not be going over the lessons as a whole staff next week. If you need further clarification, please contact Katie or Aubrey. They are both happy to help. As always, we want this day to be meaningful, so let us know if you need anything to ensure lessons are great!! #gameonWISD
