Lewis and Clark Library
The Month That Was...January 2014
Highlights
- Page Turner's Book Club Second graders are excited to join us next week!
- Reading Adventure Night for first and second graders was great fun. Unfortunately, the older kids' night is being rescheduled due to our last snowfall.
- Storytelling Club was a huge success. The 1st and 2nd graders loved hearing the stories told by our club members. Special thanks to Mr. Haynes for bringing this club to LC!
- Kindergarten kiddos are rocking researchers. We are busy answering the questions our kindergarten friends have about the pictures we sent them.
- First and Second graders will soon be voting for their favorite 2013-2014 Show Me nominee. Both grade levels will be moving into a new Curiosity Club topic very soon!
- Third, fourth, and fifth graders are working hard on their Genius Hour projects. Several kids have already shared their learning and have moved on to another area of interest. So much learning, problem-solving, and collaborating is happening!
