May 2-May 18

Due to funding from a federal program, we were able to supply free meals to all children ages 18 and under for the past three years. That program is ending on the last day of school.
Free meals for ALL students are discontinuing at the end of this school year. To qualify for free or reduced meals for the 2022 summer school session and the 2022-2023 school year, you must fill out a free/reduced application form.
You may do so by stopping by our front office for a form OR clicking on the following to apply through the online registration form:
You can apply by visiting: https://www.schoolcafe.com/
If you have questions, you can check with our social worker, Bonnie Maloney at Maloneyb@parkhill.k12.mo.us, or our Nutrition Services Department.
The application for the 2022-2023 school year and 2022 summer school will extend to the first 30 days of the 2022-2023 school year, and then eligible families will need to reapply to receive the meal benefits for the remainder of the upcoming school year.
If your child is eligible for free and reduced meal benefits and you apply, you can also receive additional benefits like fee waivers, activity scholarships, free screenings, school supplies, and more.
You can find more information on our website: https://www.parkhill.k12.mo.us/families/menus-and-nutrition/free-and-reduced-meals
Join us at our PTA Culver's Night on May 17th where a portion of the proceeds go to Line Creek!

Thank you Dr. Biehl for working so hard to make this happen for our LC Students!

2022 Best Communities for Music Education
BEST COMMUNITIES FOR MUSIC EDUCATION: We are #ParkHillProud to earn the Best Communities for Music Education award from The NAMM Foundation for our commitment to music education!
Districts earn this award for providing music access and education to all students. We earned it for our funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, and support for the music program and its community music-making programs. During the pandemic, music and arts programs were a vital component to keeping students engaged in school, and our music educators ensured students still had access to music education.
Park Hill is one of only six districts in Missouri to earn this designation.
Thank you to Mrs. Kikoler for working so hard to help Park Hill achieve this honor!
Sophie's Run!
We hope you will join us in person or virtually to support our fundraiser on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
This year we will offer an in-person Fun Run and a virtual run or walk for those who may be more comfortable participating on their own. Regardless of how you choose to participate, we cannot wait to see your pictures on social media! Be sure to tag Sophie's Run @ Lake Waukomis and use one of the hashtags below.
With your help, we raised over $40,000 in 2021 to assist students who need assistive technology to communicate! We have assisted over 120 students in the Park Hill School District to find their voices! Won't you continue to assist us in providing the communication devices and assistive technology necessary to support these students and their families?

Park Hill Clothing Center
2 Shopping Days Left!!
The Park Hill Clothing Center would like to thank all of the families who have contributed to our facility. For anyone not familiar with the clothing center there is more information here: https://www.parkhill.k12.mo.us/families/pta-clothing-center
We currently have an abundance of clothes and we would love to give them away! There are only two more “shopping days” (the clothes are free) left for 2022:
May 3 (10am-12pm and 5pm-7pm) and
May 17 (4pm-6pm).
Sign-ups are no longer required. Please come and take summer clothes as well as clothes for next school year.
During the summer the remaining clothes will be re-donated and we will re-stock will different clothes for the fall. Volunteers are greatly needed throughout the summer. This signup genius will be updated periodically: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508084fa4a72ba0fa7-canyou
We appreciate all of your help!!
-The Park Hill Clothing Center
The Park Hill Clothing Center currently has a very large inventory on the racks. Stock up for summer early since we shut down in May. We still have plenty of warm weather clothes and coats as well. No appointments are necessary, but masks are required. The schedule is found here: https://www.parkhill.k12.mo.us/families/pta-clothing-center
Volunteers are always needed! Thank you all so much for the numerous donations, however, we often have a difficult time hanging up all of the incoming clothes. There are two sign-up genius links for volunteers: There is one sign-up genius for the 2-4 pm timeslot every Tuesday that doesn't have shoppers present. That sign up is here and students are welcome to help out https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508084fa4a72ba0fa7-canyou
Then there is a second sign-up for the Tuesday 10-12 pm and 5-7 pm slots when shoppers will be there. When shoppers are present we can't have students helping due to confidentiality. That sign-up is here: https://www.signupgenius.com/.../508084fa4a72ba0fa7...
We appreciate all of your help!!
