Word From The Woods

Bishop Woods School Newsletter - Week of 4.5.2020

Congratulations to kindergarten student, Mikayla C. and her mom, Deidre...the WINNERS of our Name the Newsletter Contest with the MOST VOTES!!

Greetings Bishop Woods Families,

I hope this newsletter finds you well. We made it through our first week of online learning! We are all adjusting to a new system, and will get better with time. Once again, our goal is to decrease stress for families...not cause it to heighten! Please reach out to your child's teacher, our support staff, Ms. Crisci or me if you have any concerns.

I have been in contact with our staff to gather feedback on how online learning is going,, but would love to hear from families as well. Please take a moment to fill out the feedback form at the link below. We will use your feedback when planning for the weeks ahead.

Currently, our data shows that 96% of our families have a device...so we are in good shape. Although the majority of our students have devices, not everyone is logging in to Google Classroom to access their daily lessons. Please be sure that your child logs in to Google Classroom each day. Teachers are available to support students and parents from 9am-1pm, but lessons can be completed at times that works best for families. Once again, please see Parents' Guides to Google Classroom below for an explanation of how to use this tool.

Please note that there will be no instruction this Friday, April 10th in observance of Good Friday, and no instruction next week for April Recess. Happy Easter and Happy Passover to all families that celebrate!

Lastly, our next newsletter will be sent out on Sunday, April 19th, since there is no school next week.

Stay in & stay well,

Mrs. Natalino
