Amendment 1- Freedom of religion, speech, and the press
The 1st Amendment describes the freedom of religion, speech, and the press for the citizens of the United States. Congress cannot make a law respecting an establishment of these three things. The citizens also have the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Amendment 8- Bails, fines, and punishments
Amendment 8 discusses bails, fines, and punishments. Unreasonable bail is not required, unreasonable fines may not be forced on as well. Also, cruel and unusual punishments are not to be imposed on citizens of the United States.
