Spring Garden School
Weekly Reminder: Week of December 3, 2018
5th & 6th Grade Holiday Musicale at 7:00 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 5
Your child has been working very hard to prepare for this year’s holiday concert, which will be held on Wednesday, December 5th beginning at 7:00 pm. We will feature the 5th and 6th grade violins, band, chorale and choruses in this concert. We definitely have some great music in store for you and are sure you will walk out of the concert in the holiday spirit!
The students are asked to dress in holiday colors—black pants/skirt with a red or green top or holiday dress would be perfect. Please avoid sweatpants or sweatshirts if possible, and remember the stage lights can make it hot on stage!
Band students will meet in the cafeteria at 6:30. Violin students will also meet in the cafeteria at 6:40 to be tuned and for a brief run-through. All other students (including chorale members) should report to their classroom no earlier than 6:45 and wait there with their teacher until they are called to perform.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. The students are very excited to put on a wonderful show for everyone. I look forward to seeing you on December 5th !
Sincerely,
Mrs. Struble
Holiday Boutique on Friday, December 7: Please read info from Chairpersons
Dear Parents,
On Friday, December 7th we will be having our annual Holiday Boutique at Spring Garden School.
This event is a fun filled day of shopping for your child where he/she will be able to buy gifts for parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles and even pets.
The gift items range from $1 to a maximum of $5 provided by a large variety of vendors, as well as sold by our own PTO.
There will be parent volunteers available to assist your children with their shopping if needed, during their allotted time slots.
Please be sure to send your child to school on Friday with money for shopping in an envelope marked with his/her name.
