Physical Education Opportunities at BHS
Did you know that our students at BHS have at least 10 different courses to choose from in our Physical Education Department? We, as a Physical Education staff, have worked hard to create courses that are both enjoyable, and educational, working to create a foundation of knowledge and a love for activity that will hopefully follow our students after they leave Bellingham High School. We encourage all students to take a variety of Physical Education courses while they are here at BHS. Questions? Come find a PE teacher and ask your friends about our awesome courses! An example of the opportunities awaiting BHS PE students is our Lifetime Activities Course. We just wrapped up a bowling unit at 20th Century Bowl and are now starting on a water safety and rock-climbing unit at the YMCA! We have also played golf, ridden mountain bikes on trails and around town, and learned about various activities such as Disc Golf and Ultimate Frisbee. Make sure to sign up for a PE class in the spring when choosing your courses!
