Any student with an A in a class may exempt the final exam. Teachers will inform students if they are eligible for as we get closer to exam time by giving out exemption letters. (For EOC courses, the EOC does not count towards exemption status.) The exemption letters do not have to be returned to school.
Students enrolled in AP courses who are happy with their course average are not required to take the final exam, regardless of the grade, this year. Any student in an AP class may take the final exam to try and improve their course average.
